Trans-Trade, Inc. tendered its application to become a part of the U.S. Customs initiative program called Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT).

C-TPAT is a voluntary security program aimed at establishing uniform standards for secure facilities, assets and equipment, procedures and personnel for various parties throughout the supply chain. C-TPAT participants comply with enhanced security procedures, screening and verifications. The benefit for our clients will be improved safety of air cargo and faster clearance processing.

Airline Passenger Safety

Major Expansion Announced!
FORT WORTH, Texas--June 14, 2001--
(BUSINESS WIRE)

Trans-Trade, a leading global provider of logistics services by air, ocean and land, has purchased the 114,600 square-foot Gateway 29 building at AllianceTexas from Hillwood.

Initially the AllianceTexas facility will house Trans-Trade's import compliance and fulfillment and third party logistics (3PL) divisions, employing up to 40 workers.

The company will be operational in the building on July 1. Eventually Trans-Trade will locate its corporate headquarters to the new facility and bring another 30-to-40 full-time employees.
